About Us

At Finate Solutions, we believe financial advisors deserve complete transparency when. evaluating compensation. Determining your True Net Payout isn’t always straightforward. Every firm has its own payout structure, platform fees, technology costs, ticket charges, and other expenses that can significantly impact what you actually take home. As a result, comparing firms based solely on the advertised payout grid can be misleading.

Our True Net Payout Calculator simplifies the process by accounting for the costs that affect your bottom line, providing a true apples-to-apples comparison between your current firm and the alternatives you’re considering. The result is a clear, accurate view of your actual compensation, allowing you to make informed business decisions with confidence. Beyond evaluating transition opportunities, many financial advisors and OSJs use the True Net Payout Calculator as an ongoing business management resource. It helps them evaluate advisor compensation structures, analyze client fee schedules, and better understand how changes in pricing or payout arrangements impact profitability. Whether you’re comparing firms or optimizing your current business, the calculator provides valuable insights to support more informed decisions.

Instructions

Before entering information into the True Net Payout Calculator, you’ll need to gather details about your current compensation and expenses from your existing broker-dealer. Most of this information can be found in your firm’s advisor portal or compensation reports. To simplify the process, we’ve provided a downloadable PDF worksheet that you can complete as you collect the required information. Having this information readily available will make completing the calculator faster and easier. Below is a list of the information you’ll need. The more accurate the information you provide, the more precise your True Net Payout analysis and comparison will be.
